Perla Lerma, based in New Castle, has traveled to 11 countries, gaining a global perspective and a strong appreciation for cultural diversity. She is passionate about listening, uplifting others, and helping individuals achieve their full potential. With professional experience rooted in advancing inclusion and empowerment, Perla brings empathy, patience, and vision to both her work and community. She joins us from Colorado Mountain College’s Rifle Campus where she is the Upward Bound Coordinator; as a first-generation student herself, she loves being able to guide other students through their unique journeys.
She joined the RFL Academy to enhance her leadership skills, broaden her network within the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley, and develop practical tools for inspiring and guiding others. Through her participation, Perla aspires to strengthen her impact as a leader, foster collaboration across diverse groups, and contribute to building connected, supportive communities.
