Michael Port
Michael was born Los Angeles and has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from San Diego State University. He lived abroad in Sweden while completing his master’s in environmental management & policy from Lund University and moved to Colorado in 2018 with his partner. Currently, Michael is the Construction & Demolition Diversion Specialist for the Pitkin County Solid Waste Center. He enjoys being active in the outdoors, hiking, biking and running; and attending live music events. Michael recently joined Carbondale’s Environmental Board and is looking forward to applying his leadership training at RFL to solving community issues.
