Melissa Knight
Melissa Knight is currently the Human Resources Director at Pitkin County in Aspen. She stumbled upon human resources after teaching elementary school for a few years and found her passion in a new career. Melissa graduated from the University of Vermont and has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Performance and Change from Colorado State University. Melissa lives in Basalt with her husband and son. When she’s not being a Mom or working, Melissa enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking and is slowly picking up gardening. After graduating from RFL Academy, she decided she wanted to give back to the organization and joined the RFL Board of Directors. She’s excited to step into this new role and have an impact on the organization and on the greater Roaring Fork Valley community.
