Jay Clark
Jay grew up in Gainesville, Florida and attended the Southeastern Culinary Institute in St. Augustine Fla., where he earned a degree in culinary arts and hospitality management. He works as the facilities operation manager for Pitkin County and enjoys off-road trail riding, surfing, scuba diving — especially cave diving — and cooking. In addition to his hobbies, Jay has served as a boy scout leader, and volunteered for high school reading programs and many youth athletic programs as a coach and official. He has a passion for rescuing animals and also volunteers at several shelters. At RFL, Jay is looking forward to becoming a better communicator and public speaker, learning from the other RFL participants, and improving his understanding of the needs in his community.
