Chris Hassig
Chris is a visual artist who was born in Boston and grew up in Carbondale. He graduated from the Colorado Rocky Mountain School and has a B.A. from Middlebury College in Architecture and Environmental Studies. Chris has completed several printmaking apprenticeships at Mixit Print Studio in Massachusetts as well as an artist residency at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass. A wearer of many hats, Chris is also an elected member of the Board of Trustees for the Town of Carbondale, a volunteer DJ at KDNK Community Radio, a member of the Carbondale Creative District planning group, and an avid telemark skier, backpacker, pack rafter, occasional gardener, boombiker with the Carbondale Full-Moon Cruise, and noisemaker/singer, with the Rhizomatic All-Stars. Chris comes to RFL eager to improve his understanding of interpersonal collaboration and leadership so he can become a better town trustee.
