Kris Peterson
Kris comes from a family of woodworkers, painters, and engineers, leading her to a profession that fostered creativity, critical thinking, and real–world problem-solving. After graduating from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) with a Bachelor of Architecture, Kris joined a nonprofit to help foster critical thinking, resource management, and design processes within learning environments across the nation. Through Kris’s travels, she fell in love with mountain biking in the Rocky Mountains and moved to the Mountain West to start working toward her professional architecture career. She lives in Carbondale and works as a project architect at Charles Cunniffe Architects. At RFL, Kris is excited to connect with her community, learn new skills, and gain new experiences.
