Steven Rausch

After working as a ski patroller and avalanche forecaster for 29 years at both Snowmass and Aspen Mountain, Steven recently transitioned to a new position at Aspen Skiing Company as the procurement manager for Mountain Operations. He attended the University of Arizona and the École Nationale de Ski et D’Alpinisme in Chamonix, France, and has ski patrolled at Le Brevent and Le Tour ski areas in Chamonix. Steven comes to RFL excited to continue learning, growing, and ultimately finding a way to give back to his colleagues and community. He loves skiing, biking, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife Rachel, and their daughter Eva, a sophomore at Connecticut College.
