Leadership isn’t reserved for those with big titles or corner offices—it belongs to anyone willing to grow, connect, and lead with purpose. That’s the heart of RFL Academy.

Each year, Roaring Fork Leadership brings together individuals from across our region who are ready to deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their impact, and become catalysts for positive change in their workplaces and communities.

So, what can you expect from the Academy experience? Just ask our most recent graduates.

“Learning more about myself helped show me what my leadership style is and why. As well as, how others might listen differently than I do. As an introvert, being more confident is a way to help me open up. RFL was a great chance to practice that, especially in Greg’s sessions.” – Thomas Hughes, Maintenance Engineer, The Gant

“Most of my life I was able to succeed by being ‘perfect.’ I now realize that when I was striving for perfection… I was holding myself back from taking risks and believing in myself and others to make progress.” – Jacob Krafft, Landscape Architect, Design Workshop

“It truly got me out of my comfort zone at every session and has given me more confidence.” –  Amanda Kuffell, Guest Services Manager, East West Hospitality – The Aspen Mountain Residents

“The most valuable aspect of RFL for me was the personal growth I experienced in both confidence and connection – building authentic relationships, discovering my leadership style, and gaining tools that will support me in future leadership roles.” – Academy 2025 Alumni

“Realizing that I have the power to make choices and not feel guilty for them. I am in control of my own actions and my life. Others can have their opinions, yet ultimately I make those choices for myself. I am finishing the program much more confident and at peace within myself and how I show up.” – Veronica Lopez, Education and Community Programs Coordinator, Aspen Music Festival and School

From emotional intelligence to systems thinking, from self-reflection to active listening, RFL Academy challenges participants to grow and to show up authentically. It’s not just about learning how to lead; it’s about understanding why you lead and how to lead well.

Whether you’re a professional at a crossroads, a community member ready to level up, or someone looking to lead with more clarity and intention, we invite you to take the first step.

Applications and nominations are now open through July 15.
