Roaring Fork Leadership Announces Development Director Transition and Open Position
At Roaring Fork Leadership, we believe leadership is a journey and sometimes that journey includes both meaningful beginnings and thoughtful transitions.
Today, we share both gratitude and opportunity.
With Deep Appreciation for Lizz Bailey. After serving as RFL’s Development Director, Lizz Bailey has shared her resignation as she moves on to a new opportunity, with her last day being March 20th.
Lizz’s relationship with RFL has been deeply woven into our fabric, first as an Academy participant, then as a Civic Impact Project sponsor, and ultimately as the first person to formally step into and help define the Development Director role. She didn’t just fill a position. She helped build it.
During her tenure, Lizz strengthened individual and corporate giving, expanded and stabilized our grant portfolio, and helped increase scholarship access so more leaders across the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys could participate in RFL programming. Her work centered belonging, access, and community connection, while aligning fundraising with the heart of our mission.
Lizz, thank you for trailblazing this role, strengthening our systems, and helping secure RFL’s future. You will always be part of this leadership community.
We’re Hiring: Development Director
As we honor Lizz’s contributions, we are also excited to announce that Roaring Fork Leadership is now hiring our next Development Director.
This role is pivotal in driving and advancing RFL’s revenue and fundraising efforts, stewarding individual and corporate relationships, supporting grants, and amplifying our impact across the region.
We are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic, and community-minded leader who believes that Better Leaders create Better Communities and who is energized by building the resources that make that possible.
