Richard Connelly’s professional path is proof that careers do not always unfold according to plan. He earned a degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut and worked for the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and Pfizer before moving to Colorado in 2018. Here, he unexpectedly found his way into property management. What began somewhat accidentally turned out to suit him well, and Richard has since dedicated himself to learning and advancing in the field with The Romero Group.
Richard learned about RFL Academy through his employer and was encouraged by the experiences of colleagues and alumni who spoke highly of the program.
He sees the Academy as an opportunity to become a more effective leader while also broadening his understanding of the community around him. Richard is particularly interested in learning about opportunities for local civic engagement and expanding both his professional and social networks. Through RFL, he hopes to build relationships beyond his usual circles and discover new ways to contribute to the region he now calls home.
