Michael Young
Michael was born and raised in Glenwood Springs and attended Western State College for two years before transferring to the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated with a bachelor’s in sociology and criminal justice, with a minor in psychology. Michael began his law enforcement career in Fruita, Colorado and has worked for the Glenwood Springs Police Department since 1994. Now a patrol sergeant, Michael comes to RFL eager to expand his leadership training beyond law enforcement. In his spare time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
