
Luyu Zeng
Originally from Guangzhou, China, Luyu Zeng moved to the U.S. 10 years ago and earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from UC Davis and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington. She developed a deep appreciation for the natural environment, which drew her to the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley. Currently, she works as a project manager at Design Workshop, managing landscape design and planning projects. Luyu enjoys camping, hiking, and snowboarding.
Luyu was inspired to join the RFL Academy by mentors at Design Workshop who had completed the program and become influential leaders. Seeking to grow as an introverted professional, she aims to expand her communication and leadership skills, enhancing her ability to create positive impacts on her teams and the broader community.
Through the Academy, Luyu hopes to discover her strengths and opportunities for growth, explore her leadership style, and gain strategies for navigating difficult situations with empathy and effectiveness. She is committed to empowering others, fostering collaboration, and leaving a meaningful mark on the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley community.
