Lucy Berdiales, a Basalt resident, blends a background in classical ballet with experience in arts leadership, entrepreneurship, and public service. Founding her own dance studio shaped her as both an artist and a leader. Perspectives she now brings to the City of Aspen, where she has strengthened her ability to listen deeply, organize effectively, and lead with empathy.

She is passionate about connecting people, transforming ideas into action, and designing systems that allow teams and communities to flourish. Collaboration is at the core of her approach, she works to ensure all voices are included, cultivating a culture of trust, inclusion, and mutual support.

Lucy joined the RFL Academy to expand her leadership capacity, discover new strategies for community engagement, and build connections with fellow leaders across the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley. She is especially drawn to creative problem-solving, nurturing meaningful relationships, and guiding teams toward shared goals. Through RFL, she aims to strengthen her ability to inspire, empower, and mobilize others—helping to build a more connected, resilient, and thriving region.
