Anais Hernandez

Anais has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2001 when her family moved to the United States. After finishing high school in Glenwood Springs, she graduated from Colorado Mountain College in 2013 with an Associate Degree in Science and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science at Western New Mexico University in 2017. Anais discovered her passion for helping others while volunteering with Advocate Safehouse Project, an emergency shelter in Glenwood Springs. She’s since worked for Literacy Outreach in Glenwood Springs and as the Victim Advocate Coordinator with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. Currently, she’s the Human Resources Business Partner for Pitkin County. Anais is a RFL Academy Alumni and joined the board in 2020.
