Ana Gaytan grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley, where community involvement has long been part of both her life and her work. She holds a certificate in professional photography and a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Management and currently works with Garfield County Public Library District.
Much of Ana’s work has centered on serving one of the region’s largest minority communities. That experience has allowed her to accomplish a great deal while also inspiring her to look outward and ask where else her skills and experiences might make a difference.
Ana joined RFL Academy ready to expand her horizons, strengthen her leadership abilities, and better understand the many people and organizations contributing to the region. She is particularly interested in developing her management and networking skills while learning what others are doing in the community and how they see its challenges and opportunities. Ana comes to the Academy with an openness to learning, hearing different perspectives, and discovering new ways to better serve the community that has shaped her.
