Project Description

Jerome Simecek, Vice President of Operations, The Romero Group.

Jerome has been a valley resident since 1993 moving from Seattle Washington where he received his Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Washington. He has been in association management, property management, guest services, and hotel operations management since moving to our valley. Jerome has worked in various levels of management earning a Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate, passing the Colorado Real Estate Brokers Exam, CPR/AED certification, and the Colorado Community Association Manager License.

Jerome and his wife have two daughters, eighteen and twenty-two years old; he has been an active member of the Basalt Community with the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools volunteering with Project Graduation, Taste of Basalt/Basalt Education Foundation, and Basalt Boosters. He has also served as a coach and Board Member for Basalt Soccer Club/Roaring Fork Valley Soccer Club with 15 years of service in that capacity.

Jerome became interested in RFL from graduates of the program who touted and, more importantly, showed strong leadership/communication skills learned in the course.  He looks forward to growing his skills in mentoring, communication, and leadership.  He looks to RFL to aid in developing coworkers and his community programs.
