Project Description

Aspen-Sopris Ranger with USDA Forest Service

Michael studied Environmental Education at Unity College and went on to work with the Forest Service. It was there he received professional recognition for his work mitigating the impacts of the Mountain Bark Beetle Epidemic – he enjoys seeing the fruits of his labor when traveling in and around Summit County on National Forest System lands. He is an avid mountain biker and skier and also enjoys going on road trips. RFL came highly recommended by Michael’s spouse and employer. He is interested in participating in RFL Academy to gain confidence and have a better understanding of who he is in a team and in a leadership role. Michael is looking forward to examining who he is professionally and how to become a more effective leader, team member, and community member.
