KC Thornton, from Carbondale, brings adaptability, resilience, and compassion to her leadership journey. She has a strong background in inclusive practices and community engagement, along with unique experiences such as training and working with a Search and Rescue Avalanche Dog. KC is known for her flexible leadership style, meeting people where they are and fostering environments where diverse voices are valued. She joins us from Challenge Aspen where she serves as their Volunteer Coordinator.
She joined the RFL Academy to strengthen her leadership skills, expand her network, and continue her commitment to creating inclusive, collaborative spaces in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley. Through participation, KC hopes to refine her ability to guide teams through change, build meaningful connections, and contribute to impactful community initiatives.
