Why Volunteer?
RFL Academy Alumni session volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and embodying RFL’s guiding principles. Typical all day Academy sessions start early, approx. 1 hour prior to the session start, and end approx. 30 minutes after the day concludes. Responsibilities include unloading supplies, making coffee, setting up the room, handing out materials, and greeting participants. Volunteers help prep for and clean up breakfast, prep for and clean up lunch, and assist throughout the day with various tasks. Additionally, volunteers may be asked to pair up with participants during exercises and ensure water and coffee are refilled as needed, supporting the facilitator and session leader as required. This is also a great opportunity when there is down-time to re-engage with the leadership content and refresh your leadership skills.
