What brought you to the Roaring Fork Valley and how long have you been here? It had been my dream since I was 7 years old to move to Colorado. I was born and raised in Florida and always dreamed of living in a place that had seasons and mountains. Once I completed school, I decided that it was the perfect time to live out my dream. I have been in The Valley for 10 months and have loved every minute!

What was your most interesting or unusual job? My most interesting job was working for the University of Florida Track and Field program when I was in college. I worked alongside great athletes and coaches and was afforded once-in-a-lifetime opportunities through this job (like getting to go to the Olympic Trials!).

Why did you apply to be in RFL Mastermind? I applied to be in RFL Mastermind because I was interested in connecting with strong and savvy women within the valley.

What is your definition of success? My definition of success is waking up each day being proud of what you are accomplishing in all aspects of your life.

What are you most proud of in the last year? In the last year, I am most proud of fulfilling my dream of moving to Colorado. It is not easy to move away from family and friends but Colorado has made it a bit easier.

What do regret not doing in the last year? In the last year I most regret not saying “yes” to more things whether it be going to coffee with someone new or going on a trip with friends. One of my goals for this year is to say “yes” more!

What’s something you want to do in the next year that you’ve never done before? Learn how to fly fish! Growing up in Florida, I was an avid salt water fisher, but I would love to learn how to navigate the lakes and rivers of Colorado.

What’s the best advice you ever heard? If you don’t ask, the answer will always be, “no”. -My Mom (she will be proud of me for this)
