Where are you originally from? Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.


What brought you to the Roaring Fork Valley and how long have you been here? My now fiancé brought me to the Valley. I have been here for 2 and a half years

What was your most interesting or unusual job? Building water cisterns in the arid northeast of Brazil.

Why did you apply to be in RFL? Connect to and better the community I live in.

What is your definition of success? Being truly driven by what you do and being able to live off of it.

What are you most proud of in the last year? Completing a triathlon, being able (and making the effort) to visit my recently born niece and seeing my sister become a mother.

What do regret not doing in the last year? Not fully enjoying my time time with my family during vacation.

What’s something you want to do in the next year that you’ve never done before? Take my Professional Engineer exam.

Anything you would like to share so far about your RFL experience? It has been a profound opportunity for reflecting about who we are and working on bettering ourselves.

What’s the best advice you ever heard? Uhm… “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I? If not now, when?” Hillel
