Mara is based in Aspen and works for Pitkin County, where she has built a strong career in accounting. With over a decade of experience, she is recognized for her professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to accuracy and collaboration.

Beyond her professional role, Mara’s life has also been shaped by her love of cross-country skiing. Having grown up immersed in the sport, she developed resilience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Today, she shares this passion with young children, introducing them to skiing while fostering perseverance, confidence, and teamwork.

Professionally and personally, Mara is committed to mentorship and community engagement, seeking opportunities to guide, support, and empower those around her. She joined the RFL Academy to further develop her leadership skills, expand her professional and community network, and gain tools to make a meaningful impact in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley.

Through her participation, Mara hopes to strengthen her capacity to mentor youth and peers, foster resilience in teams, and contribute to initiatives that build vibrant, supportive, and connected communities.
